What are you reading now?

Here is a good topic to keep updating...

What are you reading and do you like it?

I have, in the last week, just finished Stafen Gates' Gastronaut and Ernest Hemingway's A Moveable Feast.

Gastronaut is good fun, especially for the more adventurous foodie and worth a read. Hemingway took me ages to get in to, but by the end I was loving his writing and just wanted to go to Paris and walk around, eating and drinking and writing in cafes.

I am currently reading Eating for England by Nigel Slater. I love Nigel Slater, he is the best food writer and this book is great fun, lots of little snippets about the eating habits of Britons.

I am currently reading Tribe by Bruce Parry, the book which accompanies the TV series. I am fascinated by other cultures and how they live and the show was great, the book is really interesting too!

Christmas brought many books which I am currently making my way through. Beside my bed is Hemingway's The Garden of Eden, but on the book shelf I am currently enjoying Gordon Ramsay's 3 Star Chef, Max Allen's Sniff, Swirl and Slurp - yes, it's a wine book - Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's epic Meat book which is just a brilliant meat-feast, and there are a few of Nigel Slater's that I haven't read yet.
