Wine or Beer with Food?I asked this question in a forum on chocolateandzucchini and there was an interesting response, so i will ask it here too.
What do you prefer with a meal? A glass of wine or a glass of beer? I think that a perfectly chosen and served glass a beer will go as well, or better, than a wine of equal standing.

Beer all the way, as long as it is lager.

hmm. It depends what I'm eating. A roquefort encrusted filet mignon with truffle mashed potatoes would be gorgeous with a glass of cabernet sauvingon, and similarly, a great piece of fish would go with a light chardonnay, but a pint of lager is amazing with fish and chips, or a hogroast. MMm. yeah...
